| Three finals down and one to go, plus an annoying bitch of an essay to complete. But hey, it's nothing a champion BSer like myself can't handle, you just have to figure out what the teacher wants to hear, and write it. So who's up for some mad fun when I get home? I'm thinkin' pool and bonfire party at my place, any takers? Still haven't packed, that'll probably start happening about two hours before I leave. Oh well, if the system works. Watched Family Guy and American Dad last night, and I must say that American Dad has gotten a LOT better in the last few episodes, the first one sucked ass and I was really disappointed, but last nights was actually quite funny, we got a noise violation for laughing too loud during intensive quiet hours (due to finals). Well it's off to more studying and BSing essays! Cheers! | | |
| - Love is the Ritual So, last night I went to a Pat McCarty concert with some friends. They were all drunk and high, so I went as a sort of chaperone to make sure they didn't do any thing too stupid. It was a blast! His music is really funny, and he did a medly of 90s dance tunes, and I'm ashamed to admit that I knew all of the words to all of them. He also did "country music by artist not usually associated with country music" basically taking like Metallica songs and doing them country style, it was histerical! It's really fun to make loud random screaming/yodeling/gargeling noises at concerts. Then we rode back to campus on a school bus full of very drunk college students, wich was almost as fun as the concert itself.
So apparently my mom and brother decided to try a little experiment with my dog Nina. We already know she's a complete coward and afraid of just about everything, so they were wondering what she would do if they dressed Evan up in a big coat and hat and had him ring the doorbell, and then run in growling at her. She freaked. She flew across the room, knocked my mom's sewing machine off the table and tried to jump out of the window, shattering it in the process. Miraculously, she wasn't hurt, but she sure did a number on the room. And it's not like mom can get mad at her, because it was her idea in the first place. It also confirmed our theory that Nina is the most retarded animal ever to walk the planet, I mean, jumping out the window?! What kind of idiot does something like that?
Well, now it's time to go BS a conclusion for my group's research paper, man, I can't believe how long the damn thing is, it's already over 20 pages. Good luck on finals everyone, don't study too hard, it's not worth it!
| just two finals left! I'll be done on wednesday morning, i can't wait to get out of here! I had my tai chi final today, I think it went ok, even though i suck at remembering the positions and just have to watch the people around me and pretend to know what i'm doing. i have to finish a research project or two for english, and write an answer to an essay question for comm, but i've got the whole weekend, plus i don't have class tomorrow. my roomate took her tv home, so now i have nothing to do, i'm so bored. Turns out they don't need me at barnes and noble this summer, so i'm back to trying to find a summer job. fuck, i hate job hunting. My dads in Romania right now on a gift of sight mission, i wish i could have gone, what a cool place.
I have so much crap to pack, I don't know what I'm going to do with it all. I'm such a pig, I just looked at the room and went eww, cause it's all gross and dirty. mmm crackers, they're good. Wow, I'm probably just going to end up throwing a lot of stuff out. My mom got baby chicks at home, I can't wait to see them! I'm so random, this entry is just a collection of random sentences thrown together in no particular order, so much for that A in english composition.
| just one week of class and a few days of finals until i come home for summer! I can't wait! I had a choir concert tonight, it went really well. I have another one tomorrow. My mom was supposed to come, but she got sick, and my horse was acting really funny. Mom didn't know what was wrong, but she did give the horse some shots yesterday. Turns she gave the shots in the wrong place and the horse had a reaction to them, her neck got all swollen. poor horse. and poor mom, she didn't know. bought meringue cookies at the market today, ohh the yummyness. just a note: bistro crackers and onion cheese taste great together! I'm so bored and lonely tonight, everyone else is out at parties and such and i'm sitting around watching home improvement shows on tlc. I am so ready to get out of here. At the choir concert this one girls mom showed up totally smashed, i felt bad for her, but it was really funny. who goes to their child's concert drunk? apparently she drove there too, theres a good idea. | | |
| It's fun! Yay for interviews!
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me." (or something close). 2. I will respond by asking you five(ish) questions. I get to pick the questions (and they might be personal). 3. You will update your Xanga with the answers to the questions. 4. You will include this explanation (or one kinda like it) and an offer to interview someone else (maybe more than one) in the same post. 5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five(ish) questions.
1) What's the strangest thing you've ever found under your bed?
Me! See, I have a loft bed here at school that I sit under, and since I am quite strange, I am the strangest thing I have ever found under my bed.
2) If you could live in any other country for a year, where would it be?
That's a tough one, but probably England, as long as I could visit other countries while I was there. Scotland would be a close second. 3) What color is the sky in your world? (It's fuschia in mine.)
In my world the sky is every color imaginable all swirled together like a dairy queen ice cream cone. It's beautiful, you should visit sometime! 4) Have you ever seen the Northern Lights?
Yes, several times. The best was when I was pretty young and living in Duluth, one night my parents drove us out into the country and we laid on blankets and looked at the sky. The lights were so bright! it was incredible. When you are watching them it's hard to believe that they are caused by solar flares billions of miles away. 5) What's that one name you've either always wanted to name your child or would never, ever consider?
I always think of cool guy names, I really like Gavin, Tayven, or Oak. For a girl I might do Ilse after my late aunt, my own middle name Laurel, or Leora. I like L names. I would never name my kid something boring like John or Katie, I like the idea of my kid having a name that's totally unique to them
